We went to the TPL (Troy Public Library to give people flyers and talk to parents who might want to participate or be a volunteer in the organization. In a short span of an hour, we met three families that had children with ASD, showcasing its prevalence in society.
Mosaic Minds
Mrs. Zhang, our psychologist, brought the latest technology, the EEG (Electroencephalography) machine, to scan and determine the brain's most hyperactive and hypoactive parts. The data we collected goes to further research on autism.
Art Session
Our monthly event was successful; Over 40 people came, including volunteers, chaperones, and people with ASD. Mrs. Zhang was our on-site psychologist, and Professor Malone was our art advisor. Sterling Heights Kpot was a gold sponsor for this event and our organization.
